Documentation

astronaut is the analytics cockpit for your iOS app: see where users came from, what they do live, what they pay, and which creators and channels actually drive revenue. This guide takes you from an empty dashboard to your first attributed install and purchase.

How it works

astronaut connects two things that usually live in separate tools:

  • Attribution — a tiny script on your marketing links records the source, campaign, and creator before sending the visitor to the App Store, so installs can be traced back to the channel that drove them.
  • In-app analytics — the Swift SDK reports app opens, custom events, and purchases (revenue + currency).

On first open, astronaut matches a device back to the click that led to its install (by a hashed IP fingerprint, within a 24-hour window), so your dashboard shows users, revenue, funnels, and journeys grouped by the source, referrer, or creator that earned them.
